CEO's role is vital in shaping an organization's culture, as they have the power to influence how
employees act and interact with each other and the organization's customers, shareholders, and other
stakeholders. This essay will explore the role of the CEO and its impact on business culture.

Business Ethics studies how to deal with corporate governance, whistleblowing, corporate
culture, and corporate social responsibility. It emphasizes standard principles prescribed by
governing bodies. Non-compliance with business ethics leads to unnecessary legal actions.

The CEO establish the values of the company,which determine the direction of the
organization.A CEO believe in transparency ,teamwork,and inclusivity will create a culture that
promote those values

Who is the CEO?


A CEO who embodies the organization's values, communicates effectively, and leads by
example can positively influence the organization's culture. On the other hand, a CEO who does
not embody the organization's values or behaves inappropriately can have a detrimental effect
on the organization's culture. The following are some of the ways that a CEO can impact an
organization's culture:

Role of CEO:
A CEO's role is multifaceted and dynamic, requiring them to perform several functions to
ensure an organization's success. Some of the critical roles that a CEO performs are as follows:

Visionary Leader:
A CEO is responsible for setting the organization's vision, mission, and strategic objectives,
aligning them with the company's values and long-term goals. A CEO's visionary leadership is
essential to inspire and motivate employees to work towards achieving the organization's
objectives.

Operational Manager:
A CEO is responsible for overseeing an organization's day-to-day operations, ensuring that all
departments and employees are working together efficiently and effectively to achieve the
organization's objectives. A CEO must ensure that the organization's resources are allocated
appropriately to maximize productivity and profitability.

Brand Ambassador:
A CEO is the face of an organization, responsible for promoting the organization's brand,
reputation, and image. A CEO must develop and maintain positive relationships with
stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, shareholders, and the wider community.

Risk Manager:
A CEO is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the organization's
performance and reputation. A CEO must assess potential risks, develop risk management
strategies, and implement appropriate measures to minimize the impact of risks on the
organization.

performs like their dresscode,working pattern, breaks,shifts,etc.

company's culture. A CEO who believes in transparency, teamwork, and inclusivity will create
a culture that promotes those values.

Communication: The CEO's communication style can have a significant impact on the business
culture. A CEO who is open and transparent with employees, communicates regularly and
effectively, and listens to feedback can create a culture of trust and transparency.

Hiring and Promotion: The CEO has a significant influence on hiring and promotion decisions.
The CEO must hire people who share the company's values and are a good cultural fit. The
CEO must also promote people who exemplify the company's culture and values.

Leading by Example: The CEO sets an example for the entire organization. If the CEO
promotes a healthy work-life balance, takes time off to recharge, and prioritizes employee
wellness, the employees will be more likely to follow suit.

Performance Expectations: The CEO sets the performance expectations for the company. If the

may not either.
