EASTWEST BANK

1. What type of Mutual Fund they offered

In order to provide its members with better yields for their short-
term liquidity needs, East West Bank offered money market funds
that concentrate on telling us about a money market unit
investment trust fund denominated in pesos that invests in a
portfolio of bank deposits with a maximum time to maturity of
twelve months.
a. Fixed Securities
Investments in fixed income securities produce an income at a set
rate over time, with the full amount invested being returned at
maturity. You can gain from having a steady passive income
stream with no risk.
b. Mixed (Fixed securities and stocks)
Both stocks and fixed income securities are held by these
investment funds. Every fund has a distinctive investing approach
due to the various fixed income and equities capitalization rates.
Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) or stocks that blend equities and
fixed income components are referred to as mixed investment
funds.

`c. Stocks

Buying stock to invest in means obtaining ownership stakes in

publicly traded businesses. The little shares are referred to as the
company's stock, and by investing in that stock, you are making a
long-term growth and success bet on the business.
