− Google Wear Operating System (Android) – Optimized for Android phones; NO iOS support = iPhones

 If not paired with a Samsung phone
 The camera app is missing from the Watch 5, so you can't use your timepiece as a
viewfinder and remote shutter for your smartphone. You also can't install Health
Monitor – (yes, another app) that's needed for ECG and blood pressure measuring – so
these measuring tools are out of bounds.
− Most accurate sleep tracking in today’s market; Accurate heart rate monitor and a good GPS during runs
and walks
− Voice Assistant = Bixby (Samsung default) but can be changed to Google Assistant if u wish
− Can initiate calls with the watch; volume is loud enough and voice can easily be heard
− 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB memory storage
− USB – C charging port
− TLDR/ Summary:
 Loads of fitness features, accurate tracking and a new temperature sensor make the Watch 5
one of the best smartwatches for casual exercisers.
 While the Watch 5 performs well, if you don't use a Samsung smartphone, your experience is
dialed back.

− Water resistant to 50mm (can be used in the pool or open water)
− Only works with iPhone
− No always-on screen (it turns off essentially when idle)
 Need to tap the screen or turn the wrist quite notably
− No ECG and/or pulse oxygen sensor built in
− Advertised Up to 18 hrs battery life; Based on reviews: it can last up to 48 hrs depending on usage
− Fitness & Health:
 Motion sensors for movement tracking and personal fall detection
 GPS for location and speed data
 Pulse sensor to track heart rate and warn of potential irregular heart rhythms
 Noise sensor to warn of potential hearing damage
 Sleep detection
 Car Crash detection
 If you're involved in a crash, your Apple Watch will ask if you're alright, and will call the
emergency services automatically if you don't respond.
− No on-screen keyboard; if you want to reply to messages you need to dictation ore handwrite on the
screen
− TLDR/ Summary:
 There's no question that this is the best Apple Watch for those on a budget, and is one of the
best smartwatches of any kind in terms of balancing features and price.
 Has all the features of the usual smart watch
 No always-on screen
 No ECG and/or pulse oxygen sensor built in (but can still detect heart rate, sleep, etc.)
