Letter of Intent

Dear Selection Committee,

I, Habib Sultani, am writing to apply for bachelor scholarship of Computer Science

through Turkish government scholarship program for the academic year 2022-2023. I have
received my secondary education diploma from Abdul Rahim Shahid High school in Kabul,
Afghanistan with the total mark percentage of 95.12 out of 100. In August, 2021, I took the
Kankor Exam and scored 335.995 out of 360 and got admission in Kabul University of
Medical Sciences. I believe that I am a top candidate for my extraordinary academic
background, my talents and skills, my related experience to the field, and my future plans.
When I was in the seventh grade at school, I took some private computer courses and
learned basic skills of computer such as typing skills, and in the eighth and ninth grades I did
self-study and learned Office Package and mastered my MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Access skills. in the tenth and eleventh grades, I learned and enhanced my skills of the three
main languages for developing a website that are HTML, CSS and JavaScript taking online
courses and doing self-study. Then, I volunteered teaching HTML and CSS for my
classmates and other students of my School from May 10, 2019 to July 5, 2019. I also
completed a training program of Coding Bootcamp at Code Weekend from June 10, 2021 to
August 10, 2021. I have started my web designing activities in GitHub.com with my
username Habibsultani since November 12, 2021 and have over 10 repositories of my works
there.
I choose Turkey to continue my higher education in is for its high ranking universities
with world-level faculty, up-to-date developed curriculum and facilities of practical learning
especially in the field of Computer Science that I want to major in. The international
environment of Turkish universities gives me the chance to improve my international
understanding and develop my personality. Besides, this is an amazing opportunity for me to
learn Turkish language, experience Turkish life-style and visit the pleasant natural
environment of Turkey.
I plan to pursue my undergraduate degree in Computer Science. During my bachelor
studies in university, I am going to focus on software developing, programming and artificial
intelligence. Upon my graduation, I want to be a member of global software engineers and
work with international organizations in the field of software engineering. My priority will be
working with the government of my country on digitalizing the public services to facilitate
the way they provide services and diminish the gap of using paper-based system. After
getting some experience, I plan to continue my master’s and want to specialize in Artificial
Intelligence.
As a summary, I believe I am fully eligible for the Turkish scholarship for my vast computer
science related experience and skills, my motivation of studying in Turkey and my realistic
future plans.
