Instructions: Below are statements related to the awareness on domestic violence victims’
rights. Please check the victims’ rights awareness along that you observed in the barangay
using the code below.

a. Rights to life
1. Right not to be arbitrarily deprived of life.
2. Awareness of the right to protection from torture and cruel, inhuman
or degrading treatment.
3. Right to be protected by the public authorities from real and
immediate risks to life.
4. Giving positive measures to address threats to life like malnutrition
and infant mortality.
b. Rights to health
1. Support health by allocating available resources.
2. Imposing health policy and program that prioritize needs of individual.
3. Health must be enjoyed without discrimination on the grounds of
race, age, ethnicity or any other status.
4.  Right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being
of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and
medical care and necessary social services.
5. Right to go to a licensed professional, a licensed health care provider,
or a counselor for you and your children’s treatment for domestic
violence related trauma.
c. Rights to personal freedom
1. Right to full respect for privacy and human dignity. 
2. take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and dignity of all
persons in other ways.
3. Right to practice any profession or occupation.
4. Right against exploitation.
5. Right against all forms of forced, labor and human trafficking.
6. Right of women against discrimination.
