I have learned about the three types of metacognitive knowledge: declarative knowledge refers to understanding oneself as a learner and what can influence performance; procedural knowledge involves skills, strategies, and how to do things; and conditional knowledge is understanding when and in what situations knowledge can be useful. Personally, studying is more effective at night and learning to ride a bicycle started with a three-wheeled bike before progressing to a regular two-wheeled bike that can now be used to fetch a sister from school, though a bike may not be practical for transporting many purchases from a market due to the risk of items falling off.

I have learned about Metacognitive Knowledge in this lesson.
The metacognitive knowledge component of
metacognition is divided into three different types of knowledge. Declarative knowledge refers to one's self as a learner and what can influence one's performance. Personally, I study more once I realized the reasons why I need to study and I am more during night time. Procedural knowledge refers to skills, heuristics, and strategies. Knowledge about how to do things. When I was 7 years old, I am trying to learn how to ride a bicycle. I started using a bike with 3 wheels and eventually learned to ride a bike properly. Now, I am using a Japanese bike to fetch my little sister at school. Conditional knowledge is about when and in what conditions certain knowledge is useful. An example of this is when I need to buy many things in the Marikina Market, using a bicycle is efficient but not really effective because the other things that I bought might fall during my way back home.
