ACTIVITY
Use the Activity to help you answer the following questions.
1. Exert a force on the object.
(a) Describe the motion of the object.
It speed up, then slow down, then stop.
(b) What causes the object to start moving?
A force.
(c) What causes the object to slow down and stop moving?
Frictional force.
2. The object changes direction when it knocks against the wall of the tray. Is it a
force that causes this change in direction?
Yes.
3. Reset the app. Set the material of the object to “Soft”.
