Title: Biophotovoltaics : Green Power generation from Pterocarpus indicus ,

Swietenia mahogany leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower pigments as dye

sensitizers.

Objectives:

Generally, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of Pterocarpus indicus ,

Swietenia mahogany leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower pigments as dye sensitizers for
green power generation.

Specifically, this study aims to:

1.) Determine the effectiveness of Pterocarpus indicus , Swietenia mahogany leaf

and Strelitzia reginae flower pigments as dye sensitizers for green power
generation in terms of power output (mW).
2.) Test for significant difference among the the green power generation activity of
Pterocarpus indicus , Swietenia mahogany leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower
pigments as dye sensitizers in terms of power output (mW).

Statement of the Problem:

Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:

1.) What is the green power generation activity of Pterocarpus indicus , Swietenia
mahogani leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower pigments as dye sensitizers in
terms of power output ( mW)?
2.) Is there a significant difference on the green power generation of Pterocarpus
indicus , Swietenia mahogany leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower pigments as dye
sensitizers in terms of power output (mW)?
3.) Which among : Pterocarpus indicus , Swietenia mahogany leaf and Strelitzia
reginae flower pigments as dye sensitizers has the higher green power
generation activity, in terms of power output (mW)?

Hypothesis:

1.) Pterocarpus indicus ,Swietenia mahogani leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower
pigments as dye sensitizers have green power generation acitivity in terms of
power output (mW).
Pterocarpus indicus and Swietenia mahogani leaf pigments as dye sensitizers
have no green power generation activity in terms of power output (mW).

2.) There is a significant difference on the green power generation of

Pterocarpus indicus , Swietenia mahogany leaf and Strelitzia reginae flower
pigments as dye sensitizers in terms of power output (mW).
There is a significant difference on the green power generation of
Pterocarpus indicus and Swietenia mahogany leaf pigments as dye
sensitizers in terms of power output (mW).

3.) Strelitzia reginae flower pigments as dye sensitizer has the higher green
power generation activity compared to Swietenia mahogany and Pterocarpus
indicus leaf in terms of power output (mW).
Neither of the two, Pterocarpus indicus and Swietenia mahogany leaf
pigments as dye sensitizers has the higher green power generation activity, in
terms of power output (mW).
