Dear Sal Jefford,

I am writing to express my interest in a role at T Jefford Landscaping. After coming across

the careers section on your website, I thought I would put the feelers out as I am looking for
a change in career and thought your company would be a perfect fit. I am an engineer by
trade after studying to Master’s Degree level at university, however, I am looking for a more
manual and hands on career in something I am really interested in such as landscaping.

I have always enjoyed gardening since an early age with my granny and I do all my home
gardening, such as hedge cutting, tree pruning/removal fence installations and general
garden maintenance. I am in no means an expert, but I am a hard-working team player,
technically and creatively gifted and I think with the right support I will thrive at your
company.

I can transfer my areas of expertise to your company as I am competent with design

software’s if you were looking to provide digital renders of your projects, I have experience
in project management and I know my way around different power tools. I am also
technically minded, and have experience in technical design, for example I calculate
structural elements and provide cost saving and customer focussed work.
