Safety suggestions;

Knowledge of safety technigues in gymnastics activities is very important i teaching prerequisite.


To prevent injuries while learning gymnastics. divided into three periods

1. Prework Out Period

a. Checkup of uniforms

b. Warm-up.

2. Workout Period – should be incompetent, awear of safety precuations .while it is performing the
exercises and skills

Safety suggestions for all.

1. Full attention is needed when a new skill is discussed and demonstrated

2. When in doubt, ask questions.

3. When doing a skill for the first time, have a ready spotter.

4. Master the fundamentals before doing the skill.

5 Stop when instruction are given no stop.

6. Foolish acts have no place in the class.

7. Learn to relax and fall to prevent injuries.

STUNTS- are activities in the form of play the test one’s self on flexibility, agility, balance, coordination,
strength and endurance.

Stunts can also be activities that serve as conditioning exercises and can also be used as introduction to
some gymnastic and tumbling skills.

TYPE OF STUNTS

1. Individual stunts- These are stunts performed by only one person.

2. Dual stunts- are stunts performed by two.

3. Group stunts- are stunts performed by three or more persons.

4. Combative stunts- are stunts where two performers or more fight each other showing strength,
balance, agility, and endurance.
