Project
Install the 3 nos. of anchor blocks of the antenna tower at Peng Chau. The steel
anchor will be hanged over the R.C. Plinth (by others) by a hanger frame until the
concrete casting is finished.

Materials Transportation
All materials will be loaded on the VH vehicle, and transport from the pier to the site.
All the materials will be stored at a designated location. The materials will be
unloaded at the site and move to the construction location by workers with sufficient
hand chain hoist.

Installation Procedure of Anchor AB1, AB2 & AB3

The metal scaffold should be erected before the casting of concrete and will be
removed after the casting of concrete. Each steel anchor is assumed to be installed
individually. The installation of AB2 will be started after the installation of AB1 is
completed.

1. Transport the steel anchors by the VH vehicle

2. Collect the Shui On survey record
3. Check the exact orientation of the anchor block according the survey record
4. Shui On finish the concrete work of the base of anchor block
5. Shui On fix the lower part rebar of the wall of anchor block
6. Erection of the metal scaffold for the hanging frame of the steel anchor
7. Move the steel anchor to the location of the anchor block by workers
8. Lift up the steel anchor by the hand chain hoist
9. The second fine-tuning to correct space
10. Hand over to Shui On for the rest of the concrete casting works
11. Remove the hanging frame after the casting of concrete
12. Cut off the external steel wire
13. Cover the cut steel wire with a waterproofing layer
14. Repeat step 2 to 13 for the rest anchor block

General Site Health and Safety

The work will be supervised and always monitored by a competent supervisor. All the
work to be carried out in accordance with the construction sequence plan.
Identification of any conflicts with other workers groups of work actives operating
within the same area and specify communication and liaison arrangements to control
additional risk.

Work area to be securely cordoned off to prevent unauthorized access. Only

authorized personnel will be allowed access to the work area.
