 OPEN ON:
the streets of Miami, cars are driving down roads, people are
going in and out of businesses, it's a busy night.
The camera cuts to a big building, it cuts to the inside of
an auditorium, people are filing in, there's a big poster on
the stage that says "How I survived the Okeechobee Massacre",
we don't get a clear look as to who the author is.
CUT TO:

INT. AUDITORIUM - BACKSTAGE - CONTINUOUS

In a little backstage area, we see a woman sitting in a
chair, talking to someone on the phone
WOMAN
Who cares about what the critics
say, this book is still pulling in
money and the sales are higher than
ever
The camera pans to reveal Lilly Jones, now in her mid-20s,
looking as stylish as ever
LILLY
Look, you need to stop worrying
about the critics so damn much,
there just a bunch of fat nobodies
living in their mom's basement
Lilly hears a beep on her phone and takes it away from her
ear to look at it, she sees it's an unknown number, she puts
it back against her ear
LILLY (CONT'D)
Hey, I gotta call you back, someone
else is trying to call me
Lilly hangs up and answers the phone call
LILLY (CONT'D)
Hello?
MAN'S VOICE
Hello Lilly
LILLY
Who is this?

MAN'S VOICE
Just someone dying to ask you a
couple questions
LILLY
Okay, creep, you're gonna have to
get in line
She hangs up, she puts her phone down and looks in the
mirror, she fluffs her hair a little bit before a stage hand
walks into her room
STAGEHAND
You're on in 2 minutes, Ms. Jones
Lilly turns around and looks at him
LILLY
Okay, I'll be out in a minute
The stagehand leaves and shuts the door, Lilly sighs and
looks at her phone, she looks at her lock screen, it's a
picture of her and Brennan, she smiles and picks up her phone
LILLY (CONT'D)
I wish you were here for this, baby
Suddenly, her phone rings again, startling her, causing her
to drop her phone onto the ground, she sighs and gets up, she
grabs it and answers the phone
LILLY (CONT'D)
Hello?
MAN'S VOICE
Why did you hang up on me?
Lilly sighs
LILLY
Because, I don't need anyone
breathing down my neck just begging
me for answers, I'm not Gale
Weathers for crying out loud
MAN'S VOICE
Then why try to be like her?
Lilly looks confused
LILLY
What?

MAN'S VOICE
I mean, you went through the same
thing as her, you survived a mass
killing and wrote a book about it
LILLY
I'm nothing like her
MAN'S VOICE
yeah, I guess you're right……Gale
still has her dimwit of a husband
The music thuds, Lilly's face turns cold, she goes towards
the doors and peaks out, no one is around, she closes the
door
LILLY
Listen, asshole, who the hell are
you?
MAN'S VOICE
I'm afraid I can't answer that
LILLY
Bullshit, you either tell me who
you are or I'll have this place
locked down like Fort fucking Knox
MAN'S VOICE
Good, that means you won't have a
chance to run
Lilly hangs up and opens the door to find Ghostface, she
slams the door on his face and runs towards her bag,
Ghostface grabs her arm and pulls her away, Lilly kicks him
in the leg and he lets go.
Lilly grabs a chair and throws it at Ghostface, making him
fall down, she leaves the room and runs down the hallway, as
she looks behind her, she runs right into the stagehand, they
both fall onto the ground

INT. AUDITORIUM - HALLWAY

STAGEHAND
Woah, woah, what's wrong?
LILLY
We have to get out of here, right
fucking now
STAGEHAND
Why? You're about to go on stage

LILLY
someone else is back here
STAGEHAND
Ms. Jones, no one else is here
They get up from the floor and Lilly looks behind the
stagehand, she sees Ghostface, she gasps and the stagehand
turns around
STAGEHAND (CONT'D)
Hey, what are you doing back here?
LILLY
Dude, let's go
The stagehand faces Lilly
STAGEHAND
Don't worry, I'll handle this
Ghostface walks towards them, Lilly runs while the stagehand
turns back around and faces him
STAGEHAND (CONT'D)
Listen, no fans are allowed to be—
BAM, a knife lands into the stagehand's gut, he looks down
and is surprised, Ghostface lifts the knife up as the
stagehand screams
CUT TO:

INT. AUDITORIUM - HALLWAY

Lilly is looking for an exit, she tries every door in the
area, she opens a door to reveal a room with a ladder that
leads to the roof
Lilly curses under her breathe and turns around to see
Ghostface chasing her, she slams the door on his face at the
last second and tries to lock it, she heads for the ladder
and starts to climb
Ghostface kicks the door in and catches his blade onto
Lilly's leg, she screams in pain and musters enough strength
to kick him in the face and she climbs up the ladder
CUT TO:

EXT. AUDITORIUM - ROOF

Lilly opens the hatch and climbs through, she looks up at the
night sky and quickly gets up, she limps towards the edge of
the roof and throws up her hands

LILLY
HEY!!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!
Lilly calls out again but fails to get someone's attention,
she feels her pockets and swears under her breathe once more
LILLY (CONT'D)
Where the fuck is my phone?
Suddenly, she is tackled by Ghostface, Lilly slaps the knife
out of his hand, Ghostface grabs her by the hair and slams
her head into the side of the wall several times, causing her
to fall on the ground
She lays there, bleeding from her face, as Ghostface grabs
his knife, he kneels down towards Lilly, now crying
LILLY (CONT'D)
Who are you??
Ghostface pulls out a voice changer and holds it against his
mouth
GHOSTFACE
Someone who's going to finish your
story
Ghostface lifts the knife and stabs Lilly in the stomach,
quickly cutting to a News Reporter standing outside of the
auditorium, doing a report, behind her is a red car
NEWS REPORTER
We're live just outside of Lilly
Jones's world premiere of her new
book "How I survived the Okeechobee
Massacre", Lilly was of course a—
SLAM, a body falls out of the sky just behind the reporter,
she looks behind her and is shocked, she sees Lilly, covered
in blood, dead, she screams as it
SMASH TO:

OPEN ON:
The University Of Miami, students are walking around as it
fades to a dorm, the camera focuses on a figure in bed, he
hears his alarm go off, he turns around and grabs his phone
off his desk and turns it off, we’re familiar with him

INT. DORM BUILDING - OWEN’S DORM - MORNING

Owen Atlas, 20, has longer hair, wearing a black T-Shirt
He rubs his eyes and looks around the room, he hears the
shower turning off, a man comes out of the bathroom
Nick Sanchez, 21, shirtless, Owen’s Dormmate, he has a towel
around his waist, rubbing his hair with another towel
NICK
Good morning, sunshine
Owen laughs and gets off the bed
OWEN
Morning
NICK
Just a heads up, there is a shit
ton of reporters outside
Owen looks at Nick, intrigued
OWEN
Really? What happened?
NICK
Some chick fell off a building last
night, I think her name
was…..Lilly?
OWEN
Lilly? As in Lilly Jones?
NICK
Yeah, why, do you know her?
OWEN
Yeah, she was…. She was a friend to
say the least

Owen, you don’t have to go down
there today
OWEN
No, no, I gotta go talk to Olivia
Owen goes to his closet and he grabs a button shirt and
jacket out of his closet, he quickly goes into the bathroom
CUT TO:

INT. OWEN'S DORM - BATHROOM - MOMENTS LATER

Owen is dressed, wearing a nice buttoned up shirt, a zip up
jacket, hair slicked to the side, he looks at himself in the
mirror
OWEN(TO HIMSELF)
Looking good
he clicks his tongue, he puts his hands down and sighs
OWEN (CONT'D)
That was cooler in my head
He exits the bathroom and sees Nick, now fully dressed, he
walks to his bed and sits down and puts his shoes on, Nick
sits on his own bed, looking at Owen

INT. OWEN'S DORM - MAIN ROOM - CONTINUOUS

NICK
So, I need your opinion on
something
Owen, tying his shoe, stops and looks at Nick
OWEN
What?
NICK
Okay, so there’s this new horror
movie coming out–
OWEN
Stopping you right there, Nick
NICK
Come on, I didn’t even say what it
was

I don’t do horror, man, it’s not my
thing
NICK
Come on, man, what is it about
horror that makes it “not your
thing”?
OWEN
It’s just…… it’s a bit too much for
me, alright?
Owen sighs and ties his shoe, he stands up and looks at Nick
OWEN (CONT'D)
I’ll see you around
Nick nods his head as Owen leaves the room
CUT TO:

INT. DORM BUILDING - OLIVIA’S DORM - MOMENTS LATER

Olivia is sitting at her desk, typing on her laptop, she
hears a door open and turns around to see Riley Martinez, a
young girl in her 20s, brown hair, wearing a nice T-shirt
with a jacket over it
RILEY
Are you going to class?
OLIVIA
Yeah, I just have to finish this
essay real quick
The girls hear a knock on the door, Riley walks over and
opens the door to reveal Owen, she sighs
RILEY
Olivia, it’s for you
Olivia looks to see Owen, she looks confused
OLIVIA
Owen? What are you doing here?
OWEN
Can I talk to you?
OLIVIA
Uh, yeah, let me grab my stuff real
quick

Olivia closes her laptop and puts it in her bag, she zips the
bag and gets up, she grabs the bag and heads out the door,
Owen and Olivia walk down the hallway
OLIVIA (CONT'D)
What is it that you wanted to talk
about?
OWEN
Lilly is dead, Olivia
OLIVIA
What??
OWEN
She was killed last night during
her book premiere
OLIVIA
Owen, you aren’t making any sense
OWEN
Olivia, Lilly is dead, someone
killed her last night
OLIVIA
So, what are you trying to say?
Owen and Olivia stops as Owen presses the button on the
elevator, he looks at her
OWEN
I think it’s happening again
OLIVIA
Owen, come on–
OWEN
Just, hear me out, Lilly was one of
the survivors, she was one of us,
and now she’s dead, that can’t be a
coincidence
OLIVIA
But Owen, Lisa is dead and Johnny
is still in prison, it’s been that
way for 2 years now
OWEN
What if…..it’s someone different
this time
OLIVIA
Oh my god, Owen

It makes sense, does it not?
OLIVIA
No, not even a little bit
OWEN
Olivia, we can’t just go on with
our lives like everything is fine
and dandy
The elevator dings and they walk in, Owen presses the main
floor button and the doors shut, Olivia looks at Owen
OLIVIA
Did you get a phone call?

Owen looks at Olivia

OWEN
No, did you?
OLIVIA
No, which tells me that there’s
nothing to worry about
Owen takes a deep breathe and leans on the wall
OWEN
Nothing to worry about? Olivia,
Lilly was thrown off a building,
that doesn’t worry you in the
slightest?
Olivia sighs, she looks at Owen
OLIVIA
No, Owen, it doesn’t, Lilly wanted
the fame and glory and she made a
book after we told her not to, if
anything, it’s her own fault
Owen doesn’t say anything, he looks on as the elevator
continues going down, as does Olivia
OLIVIA (CONT'D)
I’m sure things will go back to
normal in a couple days, but for
now, we just have to deal with the
reporters…..just like in Okeechobee
Owen looks at Olivia as the doors open, they see the
reporters at the front entrance and they both sigh

Here goes nothing
They walk out as it cuts to a classroom, it’s covered with
several film posters (mostly from the 2010s and a few from
the 90s)

INT. FILM CLASS - MOMENTS LATER

Mr. Harriot is standing in front of his class, mid-30s, has
long black hair, black beard, wearing a tie
HARRIOT
Alright, what happened last night
was a tragedy but for right now we
have to move on with class
the entire class murmurs as Harriot writes on the whiteboard
HARRIOT (CONT'D)
Ok, who can tell me about the
remake era of movies?
One girl raises her hand, Harriot notices
HARRIOT (CONT'D)
Yes, Michelle
Michelle - 21, has short black hair, bit of a movie geek, is
wearing a leather jacket and black pants
MICHELLE
It was a time where Hollywood was
running out of ideas and they
decided to do remakes of the
classics, most of them being horror
The class murmurs and another person speaks up
Beth, 22, has a mix of blonde and black hair, is wearing a
black hoodie and blue jeans
BETH
Some of them were good but most of
them were shit and unneeded
Pete, 21, long hair, letterman jacket, that's all the signs
you need to know that he is on the college football team
PETE
How were they unneeded?

I'm with Pete, how were they
unneeded exactly?
BETH
Well, for starters, the Child's
Play remake....it's a cashgrab that
the studio made to gain money
Another girl pitches in on the conversation
Christina, 21, wearing a nice blue dress with a jean jacket
over it
CHRISTINA
There are also remakes that
replicates the original like Fright
Night, Psycho, Nightmare on Elm
Street, and they were only made for
the modern times
Jackson comes into the conversation
Jackson, 22, Pete's right hand man, quarter back for the
football team
JACKSON
But aren't remakes supposed to do
the classics justice?
Christina looks at Jackson
CHRISTINA
No, that was just a cheap marketing
tactic to sell tickets
PETE
Not all of them are bad though, the
Friday The 13th one wasn't all that
bad
The class murmurs in agreement as Owen barges in and the
whole classroom grows silent, he looks around the room, he
realizes
OWEN
Sorry I was late, it wasn't exactly
easy getting in the building with
all of the reporters roaming around
HARRIOT
It's fine Owen, please sit
Owen goes to sit down next to Riley, the class is still

staring at him, he tries to ignore it

HARRIOT (CONT'D)
Owen, we were just talking about
remakes
OWEN:
What's there to talk about, most of
them are pretty useless
BETH
THANK YOU, I'm glad someone else
other than me said it
The class, along with Owen, fill the room with laughter as
the camera cuts to Harriot greeting everyone out, Owen is
walking out as Harriot stops him
HARRIOT
Hey Owen
OWEN
Yeah
HARRIOT
Are you doing alright? I know what
happened to that lady last night
and...
OWEN
No, no, I'm fine, it was
just....unfortunate circumstance I
guess
HARRIOT
Ok, I just wanted to make sure,
have a good rest of your day Owen
OWEN
Will do, sir
Owen begins to walk down the hallway and he leaves the
building, the camera pans over to Pete and Christina
PETE
It was nice debating remakes today,
despite what happened last night
CHRISTINA
You know, we could debate it again
some time if you want
PETE
You mean….like a date?

Christina smiles, she looks at Pete

CHRISTINA
Yeah, something like that, I’ll see

He watches her as Christina leaves the building, he smiles
and walks away as it

INT. COLLEGE - LIBRARY - MOMENTS LATER

Olivia is sitting at the front desk of the library, she is
reading a book, a person walks up and puts a book down
MAN
Excuse me miss, I would like to
turn in this book
Olivia looks up and smiles, the camera reveals Jackson, who's
smiling from ear to ear, she grabs the book and scans it, the
computer beeps
OLIVIA
Ok, your book has been turned in,
anything else that I could do for
you?
JACKSON
Yes, would you go out with me?
Olivia laughs and looks at Jackson
OLIVIA
Jackson, this is the 3rd time you
did this, and I tell you the same
thing each time
JACKSON
Yes, I know, you don't want to date
anyone right now but you didn't say
we couldn't go out as friends
OLIVIA
Okay, you got me there
JACKSON
So, is that a yes?

Olivia nods her head, Jackson smiles

Jackson leaves the library, Olivia smiles, she glances over
at her phone and sees that it's ringing, she looks at who it
is and answers it
OLIVIA (CONT'D)
Hello?
MAN'S VOICE
Hey, Olivia
Olivia recognizes the voice, she smiles
OLIVIA
Louis? Hey, how are you?
LOUIS
I've been better, did you hear
about Lilly?
Olivia's smile fades, she sighs
OLIVIA
Yeah, Owen told me
LOUIS
How is he holding up?
OLIVIA
Well, other than the fact he tried
to convince me that someone is
running around in a Ghostface mask
again, he's doing good
LOUIS
Are you two still a---
OLIVIA
Uh, no, but we're still friends
LOUIS
Listen, give me a call if something
else happens, alright?
Olivia nods her head

They hang up, Olivia sets her phone down and sighs as it

INT. COLLEGE - CAFETERIA - AFTERNOON

Owen sits down with Nick, Beth, and Michelle, talking about
movies
NICK
So, did anyone watch the new
trailer for Hellraiser yet?
BETH
I did, it looks kind of goofy
though
MICHELLE
I can't wait for it, it seems to be
pulling a Halloween and is another
requel
Owen looks at Michelle, confused
OWEN
Requel?
MICHELLE(TO OWEN)
It's where a new movie in a long
franchise ignores all the past
sequels and is just a sequel to the
original, almost every horror
franchise has done it, Halloween,
Texas Chainsaw Massacre...

Jackson walks up with a smile on his face, Nick looks at him

Olivia is rolling a book cart down an aisle, putting books
back, she hears her phone ring, she answers
OLIVIA
Hello?
MAN'S VOICE
Hello, Olivia
She looks confused, she looks around the area and sees no one
OLIVIA
Who is this?
MAN'S VOICE
The last person you'll ever see
alive
Freaked out, Olivia hangs up and turns around to see
Ghostface standing there, she breathes heavily and backs into
the cart, until she hears laughter coming from the mask,
Olivia is confused
OLIVIA
What the hell?
The man takes off the mask to reveal a student, Greg Vaughan,
the class clown, 22, Olivia sighs as Greg continues laughing
OLIVIA (CONT'D)
You're an asshole, Greg
GREG
Come on, it's just a joke
OLIVIA
Whatever
She turns around and pushes the cart forward as Greg runs
off, she looks at her phone to see a text from Owen, she
looks at it but we don't see what it says
CUT TO:

EXT. COLLEGE - PAVILLION - EVENING

Olivia walks up to see Owen looking out towards the streets
of Seattle, she walks up the steps and approaches him
OLIVIA
I got your text, what's up?

Have you ever wondered what life
would be like if we never met?
Olivia looks at Owen, confused
OLIVIA
No, not really.....have you?
Owen looks at her and sighs
OWEN
Sometimes.....yeah, I think about
what we could've avoided if we were
never together, would your dad
still be alive? Would Brad? Would
anyone that we lost in the last 2
years still be here? It's just a
never ending question in my head
OLIVIA
Owen, I know that what happened in
Okeechobee was tough but that was
not our fault, it was Johnny and
Lisa that did that, not you and not
me, you know that right?
OWEN
Johnny said he did that because of
us
OLIVIA
Johnny is a psycho, Owen, he killed
our friends, there's nothing you
can do that could change that, I'm
sorry but that's the truth
OWEN
I just want a normal life

Olivia walks up next to him

OLIVIA
You have a normal life, you have
friends that care about you, I care
about you, Owen
Olivia rests her head on Owen, he rubs his eyes a little bit,
the camera zooms out with the both of them looking at the
streets as the camera
CUT TO:

A car driving down the road and pulling into a house, the
camera pans towards the driver window to reveal Harriot, he
turns off his car, he opens his car door and grabs his bag,
he gets out of his car and approaches his door, he pulls out
keys from his pocket and unlocks the door
CUT TO:

INT. HARRIOT'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Harriot puts his bag on the table, he walks over to his
fridge and opens it, he grabs a beer and cracks it open, he
takes a sip as he walks to his office and sits down at his
desk

INT. HARRIOT'S HOUSE - HARRIOT'S OFFICE - EVENING

Mr. Harriot is sorting papers when he hears a door open and
close, breaking his concentration
HARRIOT
Hello?
He gets up from his office and searches through the house, he
finds nothing, he goes back to his office and sits back down,
his office phone rings, he answers
HARRIOT (CONT'D)
Hello?
MAN'S VOICE:
Hello, Harold
It's a voice we're all too familiar with
HARRIOT
Who is this?
MAN'S VOICE
It's just an old friend, I want to
play a game
HARRIOT
If this is one of my students, I
swear you pick the wrong time to
prank call
MAN'S VOICE
Now, Harriot, you should be really
careful with your words

Why?, The whole Ghostface shtick
sucks and is outdated
MAN'S VOICE
Well, let's just say that your wife

Harriot's face grows dark, he leans up from his office chair
HARRIOT

Go look out your patio
Harriot gets out of his office and walks towards the glass
door, the lights are off, when he turns them on he is
horrified
His wife, beaten and bloody, tied to a chair and duct tape
around her mouth
MAN'S VOICE (CONT'D)
Not so tough now, are ya
HARRIOT
Who the hell are you?
MAN'S VOICE
Answer my questions and if you get
them right, you and your wife are
free, but if you lose--
HARRIOT
We die
MAN'S VOICE
Correct, now, question 1: what was
Billy Loomis's motive in the
original stab?
HARRIOT
Easy, he wanted revenge on Maureen
after she slept with his father
MAN'S VOICE
Correct, question 2: if you wanted
to kill any of your students, what
would you kill them with?
HARRIOT

Good, now final question: how dumb
are you to not check your closet?
All of a sudden, Ghostface pops out of the closet and stabs
Harriot in the back, pushing him against the glass, Ghostface
slams his head into the glass until it cracks, Ghostface
turns him around and stabs him in the gut, he pushes Harriot
through the glass and onto the patio, his wife is screaming
in fear
Harriot, not moving, Ghostface stands over him and kneels
down, he plunges his knife through Harriot's throat, with the
blade coming out the other end, killing him
Ghostface gets up and walks towards Harriot's wife, who is
crying, and he tilts his head
Before leaving, he puts the knife against her throat and
slits it, she tips her head back, dead, Ghostface admires his
work as it
CUT TO:

INT. COLLEGE - KAPPA ALPHA SOCIETY - MOMENTS LATER

It's a big party, people are dancing in and outside of the

Greg walks away as Ghostface picks up the knife off of the
floor, he runs towards him and slams the knife into his
shoulder, Greg falls to the floor in pain, he looks at

He feels his wound and sees the blood, he gets up as
Ghostface tries to grab him, he jiggles the door knob but
it's locked, Greg turns around to see Ghostface charging at

Ghostface doesn't answer. Suddenly, the power goes off, Greg
tries seeing where Ghostface is, the power comes on and

slowly walks towards him as Greg crawls to his phone,
Ghostface kicks it away.
He picks Greg up from the ground, he stabs into his gut

Pete and Christina start to walk to the exit, but they stop,
they hear the sound of the curtains rustling

Pete goes towards the curtains, he looks at them and turns
around, facing Christina, who is still on the steps

Did you find anything?
PETE
No, there's nothing here

Suddenly, Ghostface pops out of the curtains, Christina's

eyes widen

Pete turns around to see Ghostface, who jumps down and stabs
him in the gut, Christina looks in horror as Ghostface stabs
him again, Pete turns around and falls to the ground,
Ghostface looks at Christina, teary eyed, Ghostface starts to
run and she runs towards the doors, she opens them and runs
right into Owen
OWEN
Whoa, whoa, whoa, what's wrong?
Christina looks at Owen, tears running down her cheek
CHRISTINA
The killer, he's here, he attacked
Pete
OWEN
Come on, follow me
Owen grabs her hand and they go into a room not far from the
stage room, Owen closes the door, leaving a crack, he watches
as Ghostface roams the halls, looking for them, he sees
Ghostface go into another room, Owen looks at Christina
OWEN(WHISPERING) (CONT'D)
We gotta go into another room, he's
in a room 3 doors down
Christina nods her head, Owen opens the door a little bit and
they silently walk out, Christina holds Owen's hand as they
go down the hall and into another room, it's a joint room,
Owen sees that Ghostface is in the next room through a
window, he immediately grabs Christina and they duck under
the window as Ghostface turns around, Owen motions Christina
to stay quiet as Ghostface searches the room
He leaves after not finding them, Owen peaks through the
window, no sign of him, but he sees another door open from
the window and ducks down again, the camera reveals Pete,
holding his stab wound, he looks around
PETE (WHISPERING)
Owen? Christina? Where are you
guys?
Christina hears Pete and gets up, she smiles a little as Owen
gets up

Christina laughs a little, and so does Pete. Suddenly,
Ghostface pops up, he runs and stabs Pete in the back,
pushing him against the window, Christina's smile disappears,
Owen's eyes widen
CHRISTINA
PETE!!!!
Pete coughs up blood onto the window, Ghostface stabs him
again and lifts the knife up, slicing his back open,
Christina sobs as Owen tries to grab her
OWEN
Christina, we gotta go, we can't
save him
He forces Christina out of the room, Ghostface rips the knife
out of Pete's back, he falls to the ground, dead
CUT TO:

INT. COLLEGE - AUDITORIUM - HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS

Owen and Christina are running towards the exit, they leave
the auditorium and look around, no sign of Ghostface
OWEN
We gotta keep going
CHRISTINA (DISTRAUGHT)
We just left him in there
Owen looks at her
OWEN
Christina, we couldn't do anything
to save him, I'm sorry
Christina looks at Owen, tears in her eyes

Owen walks up to her but she backs up, Owen sees Ghostface

As Ghostface runs towards her, ready to strike with his
knife, he pushes her out of the way, the knife lands in his
shoulder, he grunts in pain as Ghostface rips the knife out,
Owen pushes him onto the ground, Christina looks on

Christina, run, NOW
Christina gets up and starts to run with Owen right behind
her, holding his wound, they make it to the dorm building,
where Sidney and Louis are sitting with Olivia
LOUIS
There you are, where have you--
OLIVIA
what happened to you? where's Pete?
OWEN
I'll explain later, but the killer
is here, he attacked us in the
Auditorium
SIDNEY
Where is he?
Owen and Christina points to the direction they just came
from, Sidney goes over there, gun in hand, she turns the
corner to find Ghostface charging towards her with a knife,
she quickly grabs the knife, dropping the gun in the process,
Ghostface relentlessly tries to stab her, but Sidney
headbutts him, making him drop the knife, she pushes him off
and lands a punch, making the mask fall off.
Ghostface kicks her in the leg before running off without his
mask and back into the auditorium, she sighs and grabs the
gun off of the ground, Louis runs up to her
LOUIS
Where did he go?
SIDNEY
In the auditorium, but Louis.... we
can't chase after him
LOUIS
I'm calling Englund

Louis pulls out his phone and dials the number, Sidney looks
back at the auditorium and sighs

EXT. COLLEGE - PARKING LOT - EVENING

Dave and a couple of other deputies are at the college, along
with the coroner's van and ambulance, Olivia is sitting with
Owen as he's getting checked out, Dave walks up to him
DAVE
So, why did you and your friends
decide to go into an auditorium?
OWEN
We wanted to find a reason as to
why the killer was doing this, I
had no idea that he was going to be
in there
DAVE

Jackson prepares his knife, he attempts to stab Owen again
but he dodges, Jackson laughs
JACKSON

Owen walks backwards as Jackson swings his knife, slicing
Owen's arm, Jackson laughs again
JACKSON (CONT'D)
You're just making this too easy
Owen pulls out his phone and throws it at Jackson, hitting
him in the face, knocking the knife out of his hand, Owen
charges at him and they tumble down the walkway, Owen lands
on top of him and punches him a couple times, but Jackson
jabs his finger into Owen's wound, he screams in pain and
falls onto the floor, Jackson crawls to the knife, he grabs
it and gets up, facing away from Owen
JACKSON (CONT'D)
I tried to tell you, Owen, you just
can't beat--
Jackson turns around and sees that Owen is gone, he sighs
JACKSON (CONT'D)
Where did you go?
The camera shows Owen picking up a gun, the same one that
Jackson threw, he gets up
OWEN
Hey asshole
Jackson turns around to find Owen, pointing a gun at him, he
laughs
JACKSON
The gun isn't loaded, I used my
last two bullets on Natalie and
Riley
Owen cocks the gun
OWEN
You sure about that?
Owen pulls the trigger and hears a click, Jackson laughs
again

Jackson slowly approaches him, Owen holds the gun by the
barrel, ready to strike, Jackson moves closer.
OWEN

Owen swings but Jackson catches his hand, he stabs Owen once
more in the gut, Jackson pushes Owen into the wall and he
pulls the knife out, Owen drops the gun

Owen laughs a little, Jackson is confused

Jackson turns his head and the camera reveals Sidney,
pointing her gun towards Jackson, he's confused

Jackson looks at Sidney again
SIDNEY
This can go two ways; you can give

Jackson laughs, he prepares his knife

I prefer neither
Jackson starts to walk towards Sidney as Owen slides down
onto the floor, she gets ready to shoot when....

Jackson stops, he looks down to see blood as another shot is
heard

Jackson drops the knife and falls to his knees as the camera
reveals Olivia, pointing a gun right towards Jackson, Sidney
walks up to him and points her gun to his head
SIDNEY
Any last words?
Jackson looks at her, he laughs
JACKSON

SIDNEY

Sidney pulls the trigger and shoots Jackson in the head, he
falls to the ground, Olivia drops the gun and looks at Owen
OLIVIA

She runs over and kneels down to Owen, he looks at her
OWEN

OLIVIA
Yeah, I wasn't just going to leave
you
Sidney walks towards Owen and Olivia, she kneels down
SIDNEY
You're bleeding pretty bad, an
ambulance is on the way
Owen looks at Sidney

Sidney leaves, Owen looks at Olivia

Owen starts to close his eyes, Olivia shakes him

Owen looks to the side, Olivia looks at him, tears in her

She shakes him again, no answer

She turns his head and rests it on her head, she cries as
Sidney runs in with paramedics, they check him out as Sidney
pulls Olivia to the side, hugging her
PARAMEDIC #1
He's not responding, help me put
him on the gurney
They lay him down and put him on the gurney, the paramedic
pulls out gauze and lifts Owen's shirt up, he applies as much
gauze as he can as the second paramedic checks his pulse
PARAMEDIC #2
He needs to get to the hospital,
his pulse is fading
The paramedics lift the gurney and wheel it out, the screen
turns to white as words appear on screen
"1 month later"
FADE IN:

INT. DORM BUILDING - OLIVIA’S DORM - AFTERNOON

Olivia is seen packing her things in a suitcase, her door is
open, a figure walks in

VOICE
Are you all set?
Olivia turns around and the camera reveals Owen, now bandaged
up, she smiles
OLIVIA
Yeah, I'm almost done, what about
you?
OWEN
I just finished, Nick is helping me
get it down
She walks up to Owen, she looks at him and wraps her arms
around him, and kisses him, they both smile
OLIVIA
I love you, Owen
OWEN
I love you too, Olivia
Nick walks in, carrying Owen's suitcase
NICK
Sorry to interrupt, lovebirds, but
are you guys ready?
They laugh and look at Nick
OWEN
Yeah, we're ready
Olivia walks to her bed and zips her suitcase, she picks it
up and they leave her room
CUT TO:

EXT. COLLEGE - PARKING LOT - CONTINUOUS

Nick puts Owen's bag into the back of Olivia's car and puts
her bag in as well
OWEN
I really appreciate your help, man
Nick looks at Owen and smiles
NICK
Not a problem, dude, I'm just
curious to know where you guys are
going?

We're renting a cabin from Louis
until we can buy a house

CHRISTINA (V.O)

Christina walks up to the trio, she looks at Owen

CHRISTINA

Christina hugs the both of them, and so does Nick, they break
off, Owen and Olivia get into her car, they drive off as Nick
and Christina wave goodbye

INT. OLIVIA'S CAR - MOMENTS LATER

The camera pans showing Olivia in the driver seat and Owen in
the passenger, he's looking out the window, watching cars
pass by
OWEN
You know, there's one thing I
didn't understand about Jackson
Olivia glances at him, confused
OLIVIA
What?
OWEN
His motive, he planted release
forms filled out for Johnny at the
auditorium, why?

The guard sighs and leaves, the man faces his client, who we

The camera pans to reveal JOHNNY, with a beard and in prison
clothes, handcuffed to the table
