mercy and guidance, so that we can complete our English paper entitled
"Instruction Manual" on time.

We make every effort to compile papers as much as possible and are supported
by the help of various parties, so that it can facilitate the preparation. For that,
we do not forget to thank all those who have helped us in summarizing this
paper.

But not apart from all that, we are aware as a student who is still in the learning
process. This paper still has deficiencies both in terms of preparation, language,
and writing. Therefore, we graciously open the door wide for readers who wish

INTRODUCTION

A. BACKGROUND

In our daily lives we do a lot of activities. From each of these activities, can be told
toothers. In telling them there are various ways of delivering them, one of them
using text. In this curriculum, the procedural text becomes mandatory material that
is taught for 10thgrade high school. To fulfill this task, we made a paper on Text
Procedures.
An instruction manual, also known as a “user guide” is an important document that
helps your customers quickly understand your product or service, or helps them
solve problems when they get stuck.
But in this paper, then we will discuss step by step how to use an item or object. in
order to give the reader a detailed view of the procedure text. Next, readers will see
step by step, materials and objects, and how to do it.

B. FORMULATION OF THE PROBLEM

1. How to turn on and turn off the laptop?

2. How to charge a cell phone?
3. How to wash hands properly?
4. How to trun on the fan?

C. PROBLEM GOALS

So that we can all know how to turn on and turn off a laptop, how to charge
cellphones, how to wash hands properly and finally how to turn on the fan.

DISCUSSION

A. How to turn on and turn off the laptops

Materials :
1. Laptops
Steps :
How to turn on th laptops
1. First, open your laptops

2. Then push the power button

3. Next, wait until the procces finish

4. Finally, your laptops is turned On

How to turn off the laptops

1. Click start button

2. Then click shut down button

3. Wait until your laptops turned oFF completely

4. Finally your laptops is turned off

B. How to wash hand properly

Materials :
1. Running water
2. Soap
Steps :
1. Wet your hands with water.

2. Apply enough soap to cover your hands.

3. Rub your hands together.

4. Use one hand to rub the back of the other hand and clean in between the
fingers. Do the same with the other hand.

5. Rub your hands together and clean in between your fingers.

6. Rub your fingertips together and rub the back of your fingers against your
palms.

7. Rub one thumb using your other hand. Do the same with the other thumb.
8. Rub the tips of your fingers on the palm of your other hand. Do the same
with other hand.

9. Rinse your hands with water.

 C. How to turn on the fan

Materials :
1. Fan
2. Electric socket
Step :
1. First, connect the cable to the electric socket

2. Second, turn on the fan by pressing the ON button

3. Thrid, choose the speed of the fan. Press 1 for normal speed, 2 for medium
speed, and 3 for high speed
D. How to charger handphone

Materials :
1. Cellphone
2. Charger
3. Switch
Steps :
1. First, prepare the cellphone that you want to charger

2. Second, both ready charger and switch

3. Third, plug the charger cable into the cellphone and plug the charger cable
into the switch

A. Conclusion

From the explanation above, it can be concluded that procedural text is a text that
contains instructions or steps to do something. In other words, this procedure text is
made to describe how something is done through successive steps.
