Step 5: Write a Story in simple past and past progressive.

You will find a story about a frightened day, and each student has to continue the story.

Specifications:

 Each student must write at least 5 lines of the story.

 In each paragraph, the student must write sentences in past progressive and past

simple.

 Has to be coherence among the paragraphs.

The most frightened day…

Last year my friend Melissa was planning her vacations, she was really happy because

she was planning to go with her fiancé, she was planning to have a great time there, she

bought the airplane tickets, did the reservation in a very nice place and everything was set.

Student (Luzdy Johana Piedrahita ) Whit melissa was wary anxious because her

fiancé did not confirm the date of the trip, suddenly melissa receives a call from her fiancé

and confirms the date of the plane tickets. Right away that same night melissa packed her

bags and went to sleep, the next morning she gets up prepares her breakfast, checks the

emails and finds a letter from her mother where she lets her know that her father is

hospitalized in the clinic in the city. And that she needs his presence, melissa immediately

calls her fiancé and tells him about the event and postpones the trip.
