METHODS CLASS
Mini portfolio
The classroom is the learning space that allows students to achieve their goals.
One of the room procedures is to elect a monitor or helper.
One classroom learning strategy is the use of talking chips. This technique allows
mutual respect, optimization of time and participation of all in proposed activities.
● Talking chips:
It is possible to use them for warm-up or cool down activities. In advance groups,
there’s opportunity for discussing and conversation.
Secondly, I’ve learned about Differentiation as activities adapted to students'
needs and as a learning strategy the foldables can be a great tool. They are excellent
for learning vocabulary, irregular verbs ( simple past and participle), phrasal verbs.

How the piece represents the essential knowledge of the methods course
My writing has been checked for accurate and appropriate use of English.
My three items:
Why I chose this: It’s easy to produce, low tech required and engages students.
Why I chose this: Engage students and make them learn by doing, getting involved with
the project. Foldables are created by students to internalize contents, for self study and
to work in groups.
Why I chose this: This practice improves the reading and speaking skills of students.
Also, it approaches diverse topics and involves students in presentations.
