NOTIFICATION
The Maharastra Regiont and Town Planing Act 1608
No. TPS-2313/378/CR-160/2013/UD-9 :- Whereas, in accordance with sub section
(Y) of section 31 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966
(Maharashtra Act No. XXXVII of 1966) ( hereinafter referred to as “the said Act” ), the
Government of Maharashtra has sanctioned a part of the Draft Development plan
(Second Revised) for the entire area within the limits of the Gondia Municipal Council
(hereinafter referred to as "the said Development Pian") along with mo:
shown in Schedule - A (As M-1, M-2, ) vide Urban Development Department's
Notification No. TPS-2311/2186/CR-249(B)/2011/UD-9, dated the 4h April, 2012
(hereinafter referred to as "the said Notification"), which appeared in the Official
Gazette, Part-l-A, Nagpur Division Supplement dated the 9 April, 2012 on pages

Nos. 167 to 176;
And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra published the proposed
modifications of substantial nature as the excluded parts of the said Development
Plan (hereinafter referred to as "the said Excluded Parts") vide Urban Development
Department's Notification No. TPS-2341/2186/CR-249(C)/2011/UD-9, dated the 4m
April, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Notice"), published in the Official
Gazette, Part-1A, Nagpur Division Supplement, dated the 9 April, 2012 on pages
Nos. 176 to 182, for inviting suggestions/ objections from the general public under
second proviso to sub section (7) of Section 31 of the said Act ;
‘And whereas, in accordance with sub section (2) of section 31 of the said Act,
the Government vide the said Notice appointed “an Officer” ( hereinafter referred to
as “Ihe said Officer" ) to hear the persons who submit suggestions or objections in
respect of the proposed modifications of substantial nature and to submit his report
to the Government ;
And whereas, the said officer submitted his report to the Government vide his
Marathi letter No, Rai. (gy)aranr-s¢, E.P.stiaraees, dated the 20% April, 2013:

the said Development Plan of the Gondia Municipal Council is required to be
sanctioned oF rejected on or before 34 October, 2014 ;
And whereas, in accordance with sub section (3) of section 31 of the
said Act, the Government of Maharashtra has taken into consideration the
suggestions and objections received in respect of the proposed modifications of
substantial nature and the report of the said Officer
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the sub section
(1) of section 31 of the said Act, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the
Government of Maharashtra hereby =~
a) Sanctions the Draft Development Plan (Second Revised) in respect of ihe
said Excluded Parts of the said Development Plan of the Gondia Municipal
Council, in terms of E.P. Nos. 1 to 10, 12 to 32, as specified in the Schedule
of Modifications annexed hereto, which shall form a part of the final
Development Plan of the Gondia Municipal Council
b) The final Development Plan in respect of the said Excluded Paris of the said
Development Plan of the Gondia Municipal Council (viz. EP Nos. 1 to 10, 12
to 32), shall come into force after ene month from the date of publication of
this Notification in the Official Gazette.
