cools the pens down by at least 10 degrees. For cats they have 24/7 access

during their time with us. Please feel free to bring that along.
7- My pet is a fussy eater, what do you feed and how often?
Dogs are fed once daily, and puppies fed twice a day (unless owner
specifies otherwise). They are fed a mixture of pedigree biscuits (small or
large dog) mixed with a variety of meats (my dog soft food, dog roll) all of
these are rotated in flavours. However if your pet is on a special diet, or you
wish your pet to remain on the food they are eating art home, feel free to
bring their food with them and we will feed them your requested food at
no extra cost.
8- My pet tends to be rather timid and anxious, what do you suggest?
We suggest you bring some clothing with your scent on it. Bring their usual
dog bed that they sleep in at home. Come in the morning not afternoon to
allow your pet time to settle in, in the daylight. If it is going to be a long trip,
we recommend a few day care days here prior to you leaving, so your pet
has time to get used to the kennel and the staff and become familiar with
it. Our staff are well trained in animal behaviour and will take the extra time
to build the trust with your pet and make them feel comfortable here. Most
shy or timid pets we get here at the kennels, will usually feel right at home
within 24 hours of staying here with us.

9- How can I help my pet on the first visit?

We recommend being the person to come in and show your pet
the place they will be staying in over the time your away. Take your time
to settle them in and make them feel at home in their new pen. Also we
recommend to bring some things from home that your pet likes or that
smell of you, like their favourite bed, blanket, toy or a shirt that smells like
you. That way they feel more at home in their new environment.
10- Can I come for a tour before I book?
Yes of course! As long as you come in through our trading hours, you are
welcome to come have a tour through our facilities and meet the lovely
staff here. There is no need to book a time with us, feel free to come any-
day in our trading hours to have a look around.
11- How much exercise does my pet get?
Each 10 kennels has its own large exercise pen which allows each dog to
be exercised individually twice a day. The staff make sure that in this time
each dog gets some special attention and even gets the chance to play
with some toys.
The outdoor cattery has one large play pen with lots of toys and shelving
to jump, play and sun bake on. Each day a different cat is rotated to have
this large area.
12- Do you charge extra for medicating?
No way, all medicating is free, however we are not qualified to inject
animals with needles. If this is required, you will need to make
arrangements with a veterinary to come out and do this during your pets
stay with us.
13- What if my pet is not desexed?
It doesn’t matter. Each pet is housed individually unless specified by the
owner that pets from the same household are to be housed together. All
areas are fully enclosed with high grade steel so no animals are able to
