ACTIVITY:

1. Define the scientific method, explain the steps of the scientific method, and why they are
important.
- The scientific method is the process of objectively establishing facts through testing and
experimentation. The scientific method uses a series of steps to establish facts or create
knowledge. The first step in scientific method is making observation. The first step is to observe
something that you would like to learn about and It uses all the senses. The second scientific
method is asking a question? This involves on asking what you observe. The third scientific
method is formulating hypothesis, this is where you predict the answer to your question. The
fourth scientific method is conducting experiment, creating a testable prediction based on the
hypothesis.  The fifth scientific method is analyzing data/results, this is where you repeat the
experiment repeatedly to confirm the results and then analyze the data. The last scientific
method is the stating the conclusion or state conclusion, this is where you state whether your
hypothesis confirmed or not and try to explain the results. The scientific method is important
because it can answer questions that can be proven or disproven through testing.

2. What is scientific attitude, and why is it important for scientist to have this attitude?
- The scientific attitude is a certain attitudes that can be consider to be a successful scientist. A
scientific mindset allows children to learn about their surroundings while also being curious
about biological and physical changes. This prepares them for a future filled with responsibility,
the ability to learn together, and the ability to learn how to learn.
