education, let's talk about first is in the student perspective with this kind of subject
matter we can learn to appreciate art even though we are not blessed with talent and skills
that required in the field of arts, with this subject matter it teaches us the basic
foundations of arts, what are things we need to know regarding arts, the different kinds of
arts, what are the elements of the arts, and the importance of arts in peoples life and many
more. Imagine a subject matter that will accept and make you interested even though you
don't have the talent and skills in arts and a subject matter where you can practice your art
skills a little by little until you are confident and capable of making quality arts. Also, it
provides knowledge and information about arts, information where we could use as social
studies majors that information is the historical background of the artwork, artist
biography, and the materials used in the artwork especially if the artwork is somewhat
from the ancient time, with all that kind of information provided it can help the social
studies major to be more engage and eager to learn because the knowledge they could
gain and learn is they can be used in the future and could be used as a reference anytime
if they have the same or related topic in the future. From the teacher perspective, it
challenges the creativity of the teacher on how they could provide, deliver and satisfy the
students when it comes to the discussion and lecture and also a challenge on how they
could connect the arts in the student's heart and mind for able for the students to become
engage and interested in the topic, and lastly a challenge for the teacher on how they
could make their student participate in the art class especially those who are not blessed
of talent and skin regarding in the arts.
