PARK TCR-03

PARK TCR-03 is a stand-alone 19-inch rack mountable dualdisplay IRIG-8 Time code Reader. It provides two
separate readouts in a single 1U unit enclosure. Each input channel of the TCR-03 has been designed to display
IRIG-8 count down time & ATD time. The unit can take MOD, EIA and ASCII codes. The input code is
automatically detected. The unit provides Ethernet interface as an option to read ASCII time code sent on
Ethernet.

The time code is displayed on an easy to read .56” high LED seven-segment display. High efficiency seven
segment displays are used to provide excellent visibility even in bright light. LED matrix is used to display the
Hold Status Hold, Up, or Down.

The PARK TCR-03 contains Automatic Gain Control Circuit to allow the unit to reliably work with a wide range of
signallevels. Adisplay indicationis provided to show the loss of inputsignal or corrupted time code.

Timecode format:

Propagation Delay Correction:

The card automatically adds 1 second in ATD mode and when counting up in CDT mode. It subtracts one second
in COT mode when counting down from received time to compensate for the 1-second propagation delay of
IRIG-B frame.

HOLD bit handling:

In COT mode, if HOLD bit is set in the Time Code received, 1-second correction (decrementing the received
time) is inhibited when counting down. Hold bit is ignoredwhile counting up in allmodes.
