Research. Visit the website for the National Museum of Women in the
Arts (https://nmwa.org/) and conduct research on how artists have
depicted women through history.- 200 words
Then, pick a work made by a woman from the NMWA’s collection and
consider how this artist represents women.- 100 words-
Compare and contrast this artist’s approach to her subject with de
Kooning’s depiction of Woman, I.- 200 words

investigation of artists, artworks and artistic genres, communicating a
growing awareness of how this investigation influences and impacts upon
their own developing art-making practices and intentions?

Using the required number of art-making forms from the art-making forms
table, to what extent does the portfolio demonstrate: • the student’s ability
to clearly articulate how their initial ideas and intentions have been formed
and developed and how they have assimilated technical skills, chosen
media and ideas to develop their work further
