1. How can we induce people to look after their health?
2. How do societies create effective and resilient institutions, such as governments?
3. How can humanity increase its collective wisdom?

The teacher asks the students, how important is Social Sciences in our society?

The teacher gives a brief discussion on Social Sciences.

Group Activity: Collaborative drawing. In this activity, students can learn teamwork skills and express their creativity. You provide
each student with a sheet of paper and writing implement, then direct them to draw a picture within a set timeframe. Afterward, the
student passes their drawing to another classmate and continues the drawing of someone else. This continues until the student
receives their original artwork, which they describe to the rest of the class.

The teacher discusses what Social Sciences as the Study of Society is.
The teacher will introduce the disciplines within the Social Sciences and its content to best achieve specific class objectives or
address situational challenges.

The teacher will discuss and introduce the disciplines within the Social Sciences.

 Show and define Social Sciences as the Study of Society.

 Discuss the difference of the disciplines within the Social Sciences.

 Discuss the characteristics of the disciplines within the Social Sciences.

The teacher will ask the students to pick one of the disciplines within the Social Science and give the meaning.

Ask the students to define Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Linguistics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and
Demography; compare and contrast the difference between the disciplines within the Social Sciences.

The teacher will ask the students to enumerate the disciplines within the Social Sciences.

Students will identify a problem in their society and imagine that they are going to be a community leaders and members to
solve this problem.

Ask the student to define Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Linguistics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and
Demography.

EVALUATION Students compose an insightful reflection paper about the impact of the disciplines within the Social Science in their lives
and in the society. Compare and contrast the disciplines within the Social Science

ASSIGNMENT Research the structural-functional approach as a perspective in sociology that sees society as a complex system whose parts
work together to promote solidarity and stability.
