Dear Employees,

We are in the middle of a global pandemic – COVID-19 and we must absolutely remain cautious in
these times to keep ourselves and others safe. The pandemic has significantly changed our personal
and professional lives and we had to make sacrifices and adjustments to follow protocols for the
safety ourselves and those around us. To contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, our organization
has put in each and every Covid-19 protocols

Recently, I read in the news about a group of friends violated Covid rules by venturing out and
visiting an island. They were later penalized by the government by breaking the rules. This is an
unapologetic behaviour and puts everyone around them at risk

I want to remind each one of you that we are still not out of this pandemic and, while certain
measures are confining, it is our responsibility as a team and individuals to support in controlling the
spread of Covid-19

I request and remind that everyone follow the protocols put in place to ensure safe workplace for
themselves and the people around. Any sort of non-compliance to these protocols will not be
tolerated and may face disciplinary actions.

Email to invite for banquet speaker

Dear Dr. L. F. Johnson,

We hope you are well. As the program chairperson of Wisconsin college of the national organization
for the students majoring in the Mechanical Engineering, I am excited to extend an invitation as the
Chief speaker for the upcoming Founder’s Day Banquet.

From numerous accounts, we have gathered about your enlightening and dynamic speaking abilities
which was further complemented by two of our members who heard your speech in the national
convention last June. For last two years, we have been pursuing to have you for this event and while
we are hopeful that you would consider our invitation this time even though, you have a busy
schedule and it is difficult to travel 2,000 miles for this event

However, we recently read in the newspaper about your travel to Singapore for a one-day
conference and we would honoured if you could consider our invitation this time and spare a
schedule to be the chief speaker of this event.

We are a student organization, hence, unfortunately we can’t provide you a fee as speaker.
However, we would be able cover a round trip fare from your city to our location. Alternatively, we
can also sponsor for a car-ride through the scenic roads which we assume, you would surely enjoy.
In case you would like to take overnight stop, we would also be able afford to arrange a comfortable
stay

We understand your time is valuable and would highly appreciate if you could consider our
invitation.
