    The water in Poblacion 1 has become polluted due to improper waste disposal by local residents. People living near the shoreline throw their trash directly into the ocean instead of properly segregating their waste. As more and more trash accumulates in the water, the pollution has worsened over time. Residents blame the lack of discipline and care from their neighbors for the dirty environment. Improper waste management and disposal of sewage from households has allowed trash to build up and pollute the nearby bodies of water.
