3 Intellectual Property
Intellectual property (IP) exists in many forms. From the name of our business to an innovative new
process or product, IP can help the company stand out from the competitors, enhance in market
value and turn ideas into profit-making assets.

Trademark

Sonic Tech’s trademarks have been registered as a branding to protect the law. They are signs used
in trade to identify products and services in the market, or the business that supplies them. A
trademark is registered under Intellectual Property Company Malaysia (MyIPO) as a mark that
distinguishes the source of goods or services. The trademark Sonic Tech also registered is in
company logo.a

Industrial Designs

Sonic Tech has designed home extra efficient cleaning device which is Vacuum Cleaner. In industrial
design may consist of three-dimensional features, such as the shape of an article, or two-
dimensional features, such as patterns, lines or colour. The design of the product has been
registered in industrial design and a design patent has the right to prevent third parties from making,
selling or importing articles bearing or embodying a design which is a copy, or substantially a copy, of
the protected design, when such acts are undertaken for commercial purposes.
