Abstract
The discipline of human resources (HR) is being transformed by artificial intelligence (AI), which
enables businesses to make data-driven choices and enhance employee engagement, productivity,
and job happiness. With a focus on five major areas—recruitment and selection, onboarding and
training, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning—this paper
examines the implications and uses of AI in HR. The paper also includes examples of common AI HR
solutions and explores the advantages and disadvantages of utilising AI in HR. The study shows the
potential of artificial intelligence to assist HR professionals in their job and improve organisational
results through an overview of recent research and industry practises.
