EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS

1. Pre-school education is for children aged 0-5

years old and is not compulsory, but it is
offered in both private and public schools Colombia
2. Basic education, which consists of primary
and secondary education, is compulsory for
children aged 6 to 15 years old. The primary
education lasts for five years, and secondary
education lasts for six years.

Higher education in Colombia is offered in universities and

technical institutions. University degrees are typically four to
five years long and are recognized worldwide. Technical
institutions offer programs that are more focused on
practical skills and are generally shorter in duration.
Middle education is not compulsory and is aimed at
students who have completed basic education but do not
wish to pursue higher education. This level of education
offers vocational training to prepare students for the
workforce.

Primary education is focused on basic academic skills

such as reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as social
studies, science, and physical education. Middle school
education builds on these skills and introduces subjects
Japan
such as English, Japanese history, and civics.
University education in Japan is highly competitive, and
entrance exams are a major part of the application
process. Students typically specialize in a particular field
of study and may pursue undergraduate or graduate
degrees.

High school education is divided into two tracks:

academic and vocational. The academic track is
designed to prepare students for university, and
students in this track are expected to take rigorous
courses in subjects such as mathematics, science,
English, and social studies. The vocational track is
designed to prepare students for work in specific
fields such as nursing, construction, or agriculture.
