Exact Words: Barney says his surprise is something special that'll show the most special people in
the world. The surprise turns out to be a mirror, reinforcing the message that everyone is special.

standing on a tree stump. This is enough to fool Mr. Delivery Man, who is thoroughly convinced
she's a grown-up despite Min and the other kids saying otherwise.
Promise Me You Won't X: Subverted. Tina asks the others not to laugh at what her favorite thing to
do is. She reveals that it's spending time with her sister Luci. Rather than laughing, Barney and the
others find it sweet.
Series Fauxnale: This was nearly the series finale. A month after this episode aired, PBS
announced it wasn't going to renew Barney for another season, citing financial difficulties. After
stations and parents alike protested, they renewed the show in August 1992. The episode gives a
finale vibe with all the kid cast members appearing together, embracing one another during "I Love
You" and the episode's ending.
