BSN 3D Mr. Rommel Andre Amit

REFLECTION
Reflect upon the interactions you had last week for this course. In at least a 150-word
response, describe the most salient learning you acquired this week and how such
learning will make you a competent nurse researcher.

The final discussion we had for this course was quite insightful; we can apply it to
our exam paper because we started our class by checking our papers. After tallying our
results, Mr. Amit moved on to the discussion. The research title, sources, and
considerations have all been discussed. I can honestly say that my initial impression of
Mr. Amit was that he was difficult to approach and overly strict to the point where we
might feel uneasy around him. Surprisingly, however, he was very different from my first
impression; our most recent meeting proved how much Mr. Amit values both the comfort
and understanding of his students as well as his profession. While listening to his
discussion, I can always say that research is one of the hardest courses, but Mr. Amit's
teaching style and approach seem to say, "It's okay, you'll enjoy this roller coaster ride
as I will guide you all throughout the ride." I was grateful that I had learned more
information about the topics.
The most important lesson I took away from this experience was to steer clear of
drafting lengthy study titles that can lose the attention of potential readers. The reader
should be engaged by the research title. It needs to be consistent with the writing's tone.
Important keywords that will make it simpler to be found during a keyword search
should be included. By uncovering information to strengthen the following concepts and
lay the groundwork for clinical practice, this type of learning will develop me to be a
competent nurse researcher.
