SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH 6

I. Objective:
At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:

 identify real or make-believe, fact or non-fact images


 participate actively and honestly in group activities and finish the task
on time

II. Subject Matter:


Identifying Real or Make-believe, Fact or Non-fact Images

III. Procedure:
Preliminary Activity:

A. Review: What are the three types of materials? Can you give some
characteristics and examples of this? (Literacy within Curriculum)

B. Motivation: Charade Challenge (Across Curriculum: MAPEH


Integration)
The teacher will call 3 pairs of volunteers for this activity. Student A will be
given set of words and student B will be using earbuds while listening to a
music. The challenge of this activity is to let Student B say/guess the exact
word as what Student A would tell her. A pair will only be given 1 minute to
finish their turn.
*What do you call these words? How do you think these words are related
to each other?

C. Presentation of the Lesson


Using ICT, show the types of sources of information mainly the primary
sources and secondary sources.

E. Application (Literacy within Curriculum/HOTS)

Now, form groups of 3. You will be given set of jumbled images about
something. All you need to do is to arrange, evaluate and label each
image or picture as Real or Make-believe Images and tell why.

Direction: Identify whether the following images are real or make-believe. Write
your answer on your answer sheet.
