HINT: If, after Performing circuit and individual component tests, it is determined that problem(s) may exist in the Engine Control Module, It will be
necessary to substitute the engine control module with a known good engine control module and retest as needed.
The SFI circuit can be checked by measuring the resistance and voltage at the wiring connectors of the engine control module.
NOTE: Pay attention to sections A and B in the illustration which can easily broken.
HINT: Perform all voltage measurements with the connectors connected. Verify that the battery voltage is 11 volts or more when the ignition
switch is ON.
NOTE: Do not touch the engine control module terminals. The tester probe should be inserted in the wiring connector from the wiring side.
