C. Recognize responsibilities of each member in the family.

Let the students read a sentences.
2. Review
Yesterday we discuss about Recognizing sentences (telling and asking)
and non-sentences.

Sentence has a complete thought and it start with a capital letter and
ends with a period or question mark.

Who can give an example of sentence?

Very good!
Everyone give a darna clap.

What is non-sentence?

Very good!

Who can give an example of non-sentence?


Very good!
Everyone give an angel clap.
Class! I have a question? And you can answer if is sentence and non-
sentences.
C. Lesson proper

1. Motivation
Now let us sing a song.
But first I will introduce to you the family fingers.
This the family fingers.
This is daddy fingers.
Mommy fingers
Brother fingers
Sister fingers
Baby fingers
After introducing the family fingers, the song will start.

2. Presentation
Let’s see if you can answer the following question.
What is your name?
How old are you?
When is you birthday?
Where do you live?
What is your school’s name?

These are different words we use in family, school, community and to ourselves.
 The color shape and food that you like are words related to yourself.
Example:
I like to eat ice cream.
I like the red color.
 People in the school like students, teachers, principal, and places like
office, comfort room and canteen are words related to school.
 Words like father, mother, sister, brother, baby, aunt, uncle, grandfather,
and cousins are words related to family.
 People in the community like policeman, barangay captain, doctor, driver
