Today I will talk about the importance of organic

farms for the environment and our health


Organics Farms
Organics farms grow foods
without using chemicals
like pesticides or herbicides
which can harm the
environment or wildlife.
Organic farmers
They usually use animal
manure organic substances
rather than chemical
fertilizers which add extra
nutrients to the soil.
Chemicals
Chemicals can cause a
lot of harm to the
environment by
decreasing the quality of
the soil and they can
cause damage to the
human cells.
Organic farming
It maintains the soil health, keeps
insects, pest and weeds under control,
even farm waste are recycled and this
prevents the pollution.
Animals farms
There are animal farms that are
exclusively build for organic
farming, they produced organic
meat. More people have access to
organic meat where as the demand
for organic meat is rapidly growing.
Facts
The movement toward organic
food began in 1940 when the
Green revolution began to take
hold, the method involved the
use of pesticides and other
methods to increase food
production.
More facts
A food can be organic and not be healthy. If cookies such as
Oreos are made with organic ingredients it would still not be
considered healthy.
In some cases organic farming can produce higher harvest than
conventional farming.
Conclusions

Organic food is better for our health because these fruits and
vegetables do not have chemicals that damage our body cells and
organs.
Organic farms help the environment since chemics are not used for the
production, so soil is not destroyed...
