development. 

Soil Fertility: moderate

Climate: 

two (2) pronounced seasons: wet and dry. 

 Rainy period is from June to October with heavy downpour occurring in the months of June to
September.  

The dry season usually starts on November lasting through May.  The hottest period is usually
recorded in the months of April and May.

 The dry season spans seven (7) months while the wet season spans five (5) months.
