and preserved wherein various kinds of trees thrives therein.

MataasnaKahoy The municipality has a total of 1,078 farmers involve in agriculture, 30% of
which are farming bananas, 21% are farming lanzones, and 15% are farming
coffee. In terms of agricultural support facilities, only feed mills, coffee mill
and coffee dryer are reported present in the Municipality. Pre-harvest
facilities and other farm support facilities should be provided to increase the
productivity and efficiency in farming.
As of 2020, the existing agricultural occupations in the Municipality
are crop farmers (906), livestock and poultry farmers (401) and inland
and coastal fisherfolks (289). Overall, there are 1,596 locals working in
the agriculture sector.
