BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:-
The ashoka tree is prized for its beautiful foliage & fragrant flowers.It is
a small,erect evergreen tree,with deep green leaves growing in dense clusters.
Its flowering season in around February to april.The ashoka flowers come in
heavy,lush bunches.They are bright orange yellow in color,turning red before
wilting.The ashoka is a rain forest tree.

MEDICINAL USES :-
❖ Ashoka trees bark is useful to manage female disorders like dysmenorrheal
& menorrhagia due to its vata balancing property.
❖ It is also help to control bleeding in piles due to its sita(cold) property.
❖ Ashoka powder is also an effective remedy for managing worm infestation.
❖ The seed,bark & flower also used for diabetes,uterine stimulant, dyspepsia
etc.

OTHER USES :-
❖ The bark of the ashoka plant is used to prepare cosmetic that help to
improve skin complexion.
❖ It’s leaves and bark commonly used as traditional,herbal & alternative the
rapies.
