 ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of this assignment is to develop leaners’ ability to review qualitative research
methodology adopted by past studies.

REQUIREMENT:
This assignment consists of TWO (2) tasks. The details of the tasks are explained in the question
section.

QUESTION/TASK 1 (30%):
The COVID -19 have caused fundamental changes in the way we work. We are likely working from
home and navigating new terms of how to get work done, collaborate and perform in the face of
plenty of new constraints. Select five (5) qualitative journal articles related to Work from Home.
Critically review the articles based on the following:
1. Words use to set the objectives
2. Study design and population
3. Data collection
4. Data analysis

QUESTION/TASK 2 (70%):
TASK 2: Article Critique

Select five (5) articles from phenomenological research journals for your article critique. Use the
knowledge you have gained throughout the course. Some questions that you can ask as you read
are: What are the strengths and weaknesses of the study? If you had been the researcher, would
you have done things differently? How? Why? Are the entire author’s claims grounded in data?
You must justify all your critique of the article. Focus your discussion on the research design,
ethics, analysis, findings and conclusions.

For Task 2 the documents that need to be handed in are:

i. The copy of selected articles; and

ii. Your critique
