NARRATIVE REPORT ON CAREER GUIDANCE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

Career Guidance Planning is an essential decision in a person’s life. It could affect
one’s happiness as well as one’s success throughout his/ her life. Career choices could affect
ones status in the society. Hence, it is important that students are well-informed and as well as
well- guided through regarding their choices and options through different exploration
programs and activities.
This Career Guidance action plan aims to help students discover their likes/dislikes,
talents, skills and strengths to be able to come up with a sound career choice. Help students
be informed of the different Senior High School Strands, degree programs available and
different career paths for them to be able to explore what they would want for their future. Help
students come up with a sound decision regarding their career paths and choices.

The Tulang Integrated School conducted and implemented the Career Guidance for
school year 2021-2022 in order to engage and inform the student about the significance of
knowing their potential abilities, talents and skills. Through this program the students realized
the connection of educational and occupational choices in order for them to plan their career
successfully.
This year is a little bit different because of pandemic, so the teachers together with
our school head decided to let the grade 10 students wear the prescribed attire of their chosen
profession and took a picture then they submitted it to their respective grade 10 advisers along
with the career guidance module. Through the career guidance module the teachers able to
introduced the goals of the said program.
During the start of limited face to face classes, Tulang Integrated School also
conducted an Orientation Program for the Junior High School students specifically the students
of Grade 10. The teachers discussed the essence of Career Guidance using the Career
Guidance Manual by the DepEd. We also did some class activities prescribed in the modules.
We also made used of the PowerPoint presentations we had gathered from our District Career
Guidance Re-echo seminar.
The School Head of our school discussed to the supportive parents their roles and
obligations to their children specially on choosing what strands their children will going to take
on Senior High School.
This activity was headed by our School Head, Mrs. Mary Jean M. Murillo with our
Guidance Designate, Mrs. Venus F. Marquez and the cooperation of all the Teachers and Staff
together with the Students and Parents of Tulang Integrated School.
