PROCEDURE The teacher enters the class greeting the students, and then teacher asks if there are any

• The teacher pleases the pupils to translate the adjectives orally from Romanian to
English;
• The teacher say one adjectives and students translate it. In this way teacher will verify
the learnt adjectives and some new words from the last lesson;
• The teacher shows to the pupils 3 pictures on with are represented 3 types of power in a
state.
• The teacher asks the pupils to read the “Info Box ” section from the book, page 71. It’s
about democracy;
• The teacher asks the pupils to read the new vocabulary from the page 72;
• The teacher tells to the pupils that they are going to read the text from the page 71;
• Teacher receives questions from the students.
•Pupils greet teacher too and translate the words and give examples;
•Pupils look at the blackboard and write down in their copybook the grammatical rules;
•Pupils are asked to describe what they see, and what they think about the political
corruption;
TASK • Pupils take turns to read the text from the book aloud. The others listen or read silently.

COMMENTS The lesson had a good structure. The teacher brought activities that involved speaking and
writing skills.
For grammar task was given much time in order to be the topic understood better by
pupils.
The teacher clearly explained the grammatical difference between adjectives and adverbs
and emphasized communication.
The time was set correctly in order to complete all the activities.
