PROCEDURE • The teacher enters the class greeting the students, and then teacher asks if there are any

TEACHER DOES) • The Teacher announces the P. that they will play Hangman with the words written in
the vocabulary on the previous lesson;
• The teacher draws the lines on the board depending on the number of letters in the word
and the P. raise their hands and suggest letters to get the word. (ex. _ _ _ _ - stem).
• The teacher writes in the middle of the board the word “Books”;
• The teacher T asks one questions: "If your life were a book, what would its title be?" ;
• The teacher introduces the new vocabulary from the text, and encourages the pupils to
pronounce them chorally and individually.
• The teacher projects the PPT presentation on TV with the first slide where there are the
rules for forming lot questions with the help of the auxiliary verb "to do”. ;
• The teacher moves to the second slide and tells the P. to order the words correctly to get
the correct question;
• Pupils complete the diagram with words(adventure, Shakespeare, romance etc.);
• Pupils comment the quote : "If your life were a book, what would its title be?";
•Pupils read 1-2 sentences from the text "The importance of books" page 60.;
• Pupils work on exercise 3 (Choose the right word to complete the sentences.).
•Pupils raise their hands and the teacher selects the P. to read and translate the example
TASK

•Pupils write in their notebooks 2 questions to the read text and gives them 2 minutes to
write;
•Pupils write down their homework and ask questions related to their homework : ”To
write a paragraph about their favourite book”

TIME 45 minutes
The lesson had a good structure. The teacher brought activities that involved speaking and
writing skills.
For grammar task was given much time in order to be the topic understood better by
pupils.
COMMENTS
The teacher clearly explained the grammatical difference between adjectives and adverbs
and emphasized communication.
The time was set correctly in order to complete all the activities.
