    Create a 3D model of the DNA molecule using recycled/found materials. Use this as a guideline
    to make sure your project is done correctly. This rubric will be turned in with your model (-5 if
    missing) Due _________

    Accuracy of Model

    10 base pairs minimum (20 points)


    Bases paired correctly and color-coded (6 points)
    Hydrogen bonds between base pairs (6 points)
    Sides of alternating deoxyribose phosphate groups (6 points)
    Base pairs connect to deoxyribose (6 points)
    Show correct double helix shape (6 points)

    Quality of Model

    DNA model is 3D (10 points)


    Key Labels included (10 points)
    Structure is mounted on a base with students’ names (10 points)
    The model is excellent and neat (10 points)
    Model shows much creativity and time invested (10 points)
