FORMAT FOR SIMPLE PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR A BROILER PROJECT

I. INTRODUCTION

Overview of the poultry/broiler industry

Status of the poultry production in your particular place in terms of: population, demand
and supply, economic condition of the people in the community etc.

Justification or reason why is there a need to establish a poultry project in your community.

II. ASSUMPTIONS.

This is all about assumptions of every aspect of production like; management, prices of
inputs and expected products, including various cost of production such as; housing,
equipment, feeds and biologics, labor, electricity, etc.

III. EXPENSES.

This is the list of all expenses incurred with the corresponding value or prices

IV. GROSS INCOME.

These are all the list of income generated from the project like the sales of animals, manure,
empty sacks, etc.

V. COST AND RETURN ANALYSIS.

This is derived by subtracting the total costs from the total income of the project, then find
the Return on Investment (ROI) using the formula below:

ROI= Profit/Gross Income x 100

VI. DISCUSSION/SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

In here, you may expound each part of the proposal how it is being done and achieved.

How the project is established and discuss how the project was managed as well as how the
items III-V are achieved. Summarize and conclude the result of your projects
based on the return and analysis.

Take note, that ROI 10%, your project is just a break even status, below 10% the project is
unprofitable, 20% and above the project is profitable.
