In terms of capability to lead the country, which is more preferable man or woman?

Being a man or a woman does not guarantee the ability to build and lead a
country that achieves results. Women are judged for lack of power and
strength. Men are described as being strong and has power, but women now a
days have that characteristics, too, they also show and prove their competence
and ability. In conclusion, I think both of them are capable in leading the country as
the times have changed and we work towards equality.

What is the status of woman prior to their recognition to vote?

Early history, women were denied some of the basic rights enjoyed by male
citizens. For example, married women couldn't own property and had no legal
claim to any money they might earn, and no female had the right to vote.
Women were expected to focus on housework and motherhood, not politics.
They said women did not have time to vote or stay updated on politics. Some
argued women lacked the expertise or mental capacity to offer a useful
opinion about political issues.
