3. Identify the type and hazard levels in your area based on their hazard mapping.
According to the Hazard Mapping, Pagbilao Quezon frequently experiences
storms and landslides with a hazard level of Little to None, while flooding has a
hazard level of Unavailable, which I believe also has a hazard level of Little to None
because there are still parts of Pagbilao, particularly those living near the seashore,
that experience flooding during a typhoon or heavy rain.

4. Identify some critical facilities nearby.

The critical facilities nearby are Jane County Hospital which serves now as
isolation or quarantine facility, Pagbilao Rural Health Unit, Pagbilao Main Health
Center, Brg. Castillo Health Station, Brgy. St. Catalina Health Station , Fire Station,
Police Station, Pagbilao Power Plant and other infrastructure like , Schools / Day
care centers and, Churches.

5. What specific actions can be done to mitigate these hazards?

To reduce the risk, always listen to the local news or emergency information
and alerts, keep enough of food and a survival kit on hand and replace all damaged
items in your home with new ones to avoid further damage. If you believe the flood
will reach your home, elevate the structures above.

Mitigation will also be more successful if the community acts more

cohesively. It is also advised that they take appropriate precautions, communicate
with local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and continue to monitor for
changes, particularly local rainfall or thunderstorm advisories and heavy rainfall
alerts.
