This addendum to Internship Policy shall be effective from 01st March 2023.

04. B.A.LL.B. / LL.B. Final Year Students Internship (weekdays) :: May 2023 –
2024

B.A.LL.B. / • ONLINE Internship during semester

05. B.Com.LL.B. / 1st Year Students • OFFLINE Internship :: June, July &
LL.B. Aug. 2023

Note ::

In case the University exams (all papers or any paper) is conducted in the month other than
the months of Summer and Winter Internship break (as mentioned in the table above), then
exemption from attending the classes will be given ONLY for the day of the exams(s).

I. Rules for Pursuing Offline Internship during Regular Classes [Weekday

batches of LL.B. / B.A.LLB. / B.Com.LL.B.]

1. Students of weekday batches of LL.B./B.A.LL.B./B.Com.LL.B. who fulfils the criteria of

exemption as mentioned in sub rule 02 shall be provided with the exemption from classes
to pursue an offline internship with the recruiter(s) falling under any of the following
categories ONLY after seeking prior approval from the Senior Director & Dean, Lloyd Law
College and also from I P Cell.

a. Tier 01 Law firm;

b. Well known & highly reputed Law firm not falling under Tier 01 category

c. Well known & highly reputed Advocate

d. Judicial Internships;
e. Central / State level Government Organizations.

 f. Long term (3 months or more) Internship with PPO

2. In every case of seeking exemption the following conditions must be fulfilled by the
students at the time of applying for the Internship:

a. Mandatory Minimum 75% physical class attendance,

b. No case/cause of punishment by CDC on the applicant,

c. Must have paid all the dues of the college,

d. Must have attached the parental consent for applying and joining the internship.

Note ::

1. The students’ on abovementioned “Exemption Criteria” will be permitted to do Internship

for a maximum period of 01 month (except for Long Term Internship with proposed PPO).

2. Exemption granted shall become void ab initio in case of failure to complete the Internship
and non-submission to I P Cell;

- Internship Joining Report; and

- Internship Completion Report and Internship Completion Certificate.

II. Rules For Pursuing Online Internships ::

Students of all the batches of LL.B./B.A.LL.B./B.Com.LL.B. are permitted to pursue Online

Internships round the year.

Note :: Exemption from regular classes for online internship will NOT be approved.
