CEG Digital - Online Tutor MSC Risk & Resilience Management - Role Description March 2023
Role Overview
CEG Digital wishes to engage the services of an Online Tutor for their MSc Risk, Crisis and Resilience Management
course, run in partnership with Portsmouth University.
Online Tutors play a central role in the day-to-day success and vibrancy of the university’s online courses and are a
consistent presence in the modules to which they are assigned and are usually the first point of contact for
academic queries from students. Each Online Tutor will have a group of up to 30 students.
This is a flexible, part-time role and it is estimated that during a typical week, each student group may need
approximately ten hours of online tutoring, although flexibility is required in order to accommodate busy periods
such as assessment. Note that there will be key dates and contact points you will be required to adhere to which
are driven by assessment dates in the course calendar. Full details will be provided prior to the start of the module.
