Module 9: Partnership, Collaboration, and Teamwork
Kurt Maverick E. De Leon
NCM103 – Fundamentals of Nursing Practice

This module centered on collaboration, partnership, and teamwork. It is important for a nurse to
develop skills and implement a strong code of conduct, and it is also important for us nurses to
respect one another. Creating an emotionally safe work environment can help us in achieving a
completely safe and reliable work environment. Increasing communication with coworkers can
help both sides reduce the risk of mental health issues and focus on clients, who are always the
first priority. The most striking knowledge I gained this week is the importance of partnership,
collaboration, and teamwork, especially in a clinical setting. Having said that, I am a nursing
student who attends class every day. And many group activities were always tasks for us.
Participating in group activities allows me to learn more about how my classmates work. It made
me realize that we are all eager to learn, gain knowledge, and, of course, gain the bond that we
want to form. It is much better to have these three factors because it taught me that collaboration,
partnership, and teamwork can all help us to be better versions of ourselves. Of course, this module
made me realize that if I acquired these three skills, I would be a competent nurse in the future. It
is important to understand that being helpful and respectful to one another can make the world a
better place. It made me realize that attaining these three skills could help me become a better,
more professional, and competent nurse. And, of course, the dignity that I am a nurse, the dignity
that I am helping others, is at the top of my priority list.
