1 Overview
Commissioning commands are designed for antenna line devices (ALDs), including
the remote control unit (RCU), remote electrical tilt (RET), remote antenna
extension (RAE), RET expansion unit (REU), Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) and
Combiner(COM). Users can use the commissioning commands on the LMT or
MAEMAE to configure or query information related to the ALDs.

1. The first digit X indicates the compensation mode. If X is 1, an absolute value is written. If
X is 2, a relative compensation value is written (after the writing is successful, the total
compensation value is the remainder after the value is divided into 360). If X is F, the
compensation value is cleared. The storage area for the compensation value of the
commissioning command is independent of that for the compensation value of the
equipment. The total compensation value equals the sum of the compensation value of
the equipment and the compensation value of the commissioning command
2. PI000FPV10XXXXXX indicates the mechanical tilt. The first X indicates whether the data
is positive or negative. Value 1 indicates that the digit is positive, and value 2 indicates
that the digit is negative. The second X indicates the compensation mode. Value 1
indicates an absolute value. Value 2 indicates a relative value (the total compensation
value range is –180 to +180). Value F indicates that the compensation value is cleared.
The last four digits indicate the mechanical tilt compensation value in the unit of 0.1
degree. The value ranges from 0 to 900. After the value is written successfully, the total
compensation value is the remainder after the value is divided into 180. The storage area
for the compensation value of the commissioning command is independent of that for
the compensation value of the equipment. The total compensation value equals the sum
of the compensation value of the equipment and the compensation value of the
commissioning command.
Command used to configure the loading area
On the LMT or MAE, run the MOD RETDEVICEDATA command with the
Antenna Serial No. parameter set to PI0007PV0000000X. The variable X
