Introduction

By the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, God gathered us, as
one body of believers, the church. Seven (7) years had passed and today, we are celebrating the 7th
Anniversaryof this Church, LOGOS GLOBAL MISSIONS – GMA, CAVITE.
It was January 28, 2016 when 13 families assembled at the Felix Residence at Teachers Village,
Brgy San Gabriel, GMA, Cavite with Pastor John Celis from Taiwan, Pastor Alejo Bondad and Sis
Judith Barquilla from Molino, Bacoor, Cavite and Pastor Abraham and Sis Yolly Baclaan that Logos
Global Missions GMA was initially organized, followed by the second meeting at the rooftop of
Ms. Connie’s Residence where the intention to organize this church was declared, agreed, and
approved.
In this current location, we had the first worship service on February 7, 2016 headed by Pastor
Alejo Bondad. After that day, Pastor Abe and Sis Yolly administered this church up to the present.
With the mighty hand of God and His providential power, different ministries were eventually
organized, from the Music Ministry to Men, Ladies, Couples, Youth, Young Adult and Children
Ministry. Outreach programs were spearheaded in a number of barangay in the municipality including
Barangay Memije, Elises, Poblacion-1 and Ramon Cruz. Also, numerous fellowships and activities
were conducted across GMA.
On the 9th month of Pastoral Ministry, the Lord led Pastor Abe and Sis Yolly to start church
planting at Santa Rosa, Laguna and with collaboration with other members, we formally opened a new
Logos church there in April 2017. Then, Pastor Erick and Sis Jo Ann became God’s servants to lead
Logos-Sta, Rosa. In 2018, Pastor Abe and Sis Yolly, through God’s leading and help, were able to
open a Church Planting Ministry at Tahanang Yaman Homes, General Trias, Cavite. Through Bro.
Randy Nacionales and Cabrera family, the new home bible study fellowship started there and
eventually, after 6 months of consistent ministry, with the help of some members, Logos Global
Missions – Gen. Trias was formally started. The congregation struggled much in changing locations for
a short period of time but presently the Church is located at Rm#5, 2F, PORTO Bldg, Tahanang
Yaman Rd. Buenavista 2, General Trias, Cavite. The Pastoral Ministry of Logos Gentri was formally
turned over to Pastora Judith Barquilla on January 31, 2021.
We also have Church Planting Ministry in Dasmarinas and Carmona which are pending due to
the current pandemic situation, and the vision to open church planting ministries in Silang, Tagaytay,
Trece Martires, and other neighboring municipalities and cities remains.
This church was blessed by the Lord to lead and inspire other Logos churches through inter-
church fellowship by holding Youth Camps assisted by the Men and Ladies Ministry. Also, theMusic
ministry has inspired a number of youth and even young adults to offer their talents to God. In fact,
several talent and skill’s enhancement seminars were conducted.
In the last six (6) years, we were able to celebrate anniversaries like what we have today and that
attests to God’s sovereignty, power, and faithfulness.

1. The 1st Anniversary was held at the Logos-GMA with the theme; “Victorious Journey”. This
celebration also highlighted the ordination of Pastor Abe of Logos-GMA and Pastor Romy of
Logos-Urdaneta.
2. The 2nd Anniversary was held in Jabez Campsite Chapel with the theme; “Expanding
Borders”highlighting the Oath Taking of the Church Officers and Coordinators.
3. The 3rd Anniversary was also in Jabez Campsite Chapel with the theme; “Press On”. During this
time, we were able to print a souvenir program documenting the different existing ministries of the
church and that of other Logos Global Missions churches —both local and international.
4. The 4th Anniversary was also held in Jabez Campsite Chapel just before the COVID-19
community lckdown was implemented. The theme was ”Undefeated” with ASCM Professor Doreen
Benavidez as the guest speaker.
5. The 5th Anniversary was held on our very church building in GMA with the theme, “Resurgence”.
Due to the unpredicted situation, we decided not to book other venues. Regardless of our situation, the
celebration was successful. We had Rev. Stephen O. Gualberto, commonly known as Pastor Bong, one
of the GMAFEC advisers, as our guest speaker. The event also featured the awarding of Ordination
Certificate to Rev. Erickson T. Samson, turn-over of District Pastoral Care Ministry to Sis. Jo Ann D.
Samson and the appointment of Bro. Adelberto D. Osmeña and Bro. Danilo A. Sode as the Logos-
GMA church coordinator and assistant chuch coordinator, respectively.
6. The 6th Anniversary was held in the Jabez Campsite Chapel with the theme, “Mighty Fortress”
emphasizing God’s unending faithfulness amidst the pandemic.

The 7th Anniversary is being celebrated now here at _______ with the theme, ‘Unified: One Hope,
One Faith, One God, and One Baptism.’ Our theme verse, Psalms 133:1-3, is a powerful reminder of
how we ought to seek unity in all that we do as it is so pleasing in the eyes of God and encouraging to
our brethren. With the continuous transition of our country to the new, we were able to hold this
wonderful celebration again. Also, we extend our deepest gratitude to [NAME OF THE GUEST
SPEAKER] for inspiring us today with God’s Word. Indeed, in whatever crisis, we always have God
on our side. He is our very present help and refuge. He alone holds us together – to be truly united as
His children. So, may we not grow weary but continue in serving, all to, for, and by the glory of Godthe
Father, to lift the name of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
