What I’m most excited about is the lie detection techniques and the

usage and functions of a polygraph instrument. That is why I expected

much about this subject that I’ll be able to familiarize and learn the
nooks and crooks of the polygraph instrument and even learn different
techniques on how to determine whether a person is lying or not.

Polygraph machine is not a lie detection machine because it only
detects physiological changes in the body. These changes, the examiner
could detect that a person is lying
The Court does not put credit and faith on the result of a lie detector
test inasmuch as it has not been accepted by the scientific community
as an accurate means of ascertaining truth or deception.
Although there are many restrictions on the use of polygraph results in
courts, they are often used to help direct and focus criminal
investigations.
It is very sensitive, it could detect even a slightest change in your bodily
movement, if you cough, etc. There are persons who manipulate their
emotions.
Polygraph results are not admissible in court because a polygraph does
not detect lying. It only detects the subject's biophysical response to
questions.
